The subject address is a farm with secure, weather-protected receiving area, which also serves as the UPS, FedEx, et al, pick-up location for Old Summit Forest Products, our wholesale division.
The shed on the right, with the red door, just inside the entrance has 24 / 7 / 365 motion-activated lighting and recorded video surveillance. All carriers, including UPS, USPS, FedEx, LTL Common Carriers, and others are advised to leave deliveries in this designated spot so as to take full advantage of this surveillance.
There is no option available for shipments requiring signature or unloading assistance, nor are there provisions for delivery appointments or trucks requiring driving directions. Such arrangements can be made in advance by Text or Email (below), but we don’t rely on snail mail and there is no option for the old-fashioned chit-chat by telephone.
Vans and Semi-Trailers under 24 ft can easily navigate Mt Charlie Road. Others are advised to use Summit Road to Old Santa Cruz Hwy. Rigs in the 48 ft to 53 ft category are advised to Text or Email ahead for details on our alternate location at 17430 Old Summit Road.
